My story

Hi! I’m Carrie. I have always loved having fresh flowers in my home, especially on our dining room table. When our daughter got engaged to a wonderful young man, I began researching wedding flowers and designing simple bouquets for family and friends. I was hooked.

A few months later, I began taking classes in floral design from Phipps Conservatory and the Pennsylvania Floral Academy. With the help of some incredible teachers and many hours of practice, my design skills grew. I felt confident enough to create a few large pieces for our daughter’s wedding ceremony and reception. Ignited by this passion for floral design, I left my career in PR and marketing. I found a job at a local retail flower shop, adding real-life experience to the techniques I was learning in my classes.

To allow myself more creative freedom, I have since opened a floral studio in my home. My goal is to provide you with the wonderful experience of fresh flowers in your life. This summer, I am connecting with local flower farmers to incorporate their blooms into my designs. Whether you are looking for a bouquet for your kitchen counter, a fresh arrangement to send as a special occasion gift, or a unique design for a celebration, let me help you create happiness through flowers!
